Last updated: September 6, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Clipzon collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our website, web app, AI video processing tools, billing flows, and social publishing features.

2. Information we collect

Account information such as user ID, email address, authentication identifiers, language settings, theme settings, plan, credits, subscription status, and billing identifiers.

Video processing information such as source video URLs, platform names, titles, transcripts, detected clip timestamps, generated captions, descriptions, titles, hashtags, rendered clips, thumbnails, logs, errors, and storage metadata.

Connected social account information such as platform, external account ID/name, granted scopes, token expiry, publish status, external post IDs, and published post URLs. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest.

Technical information such as IP address, device/browser data, request metadata, errors, audit events, performance data, and security logs.

3. How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, process videos, generate clips and AI metadata, store and deliver exports, manage credits and subscriptions, publish posts when requested, prevent abuse, improve reliability, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal or platform requirements.

4. Third-party services

Clipzon may use third-party providers for authentication, billing, AI models, video download, hosting, object storage, analytics, and social publishing integrations.

When you connect or publish to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Meta, Twitch, Kick, or another platform, your use is also governed by that platform’s own terms and privacy policies.

5. Storage and retention

We store account records, settings, billing state, credits, audit logs, generated clip metadata, rendered media, and social publishing records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, and improve the product.

You may delete jobs or disconnect social accounts in the app where supported. Some records may remain in backups, audit logs, billing records, or security logs for a limited period.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, HTTPS, signed media URLs, and encrypted storage of social access tokens.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted or stored through Clipzon.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update account settings, disconnect social accounts, delete generated jobs where supported, and manage billing through the app or billing portal.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information. Contact us through the support channel published for Clipzon to exercise those rights.

8. International processing

Clipzon and its providers may process information in countries other than where you live. We use providers and safeguards intended to support secure and lawful processing.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date shows when it was last changed.

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to the support contact published inside Clipzon or in the relevant app marketplace/developer profile.
